Viktor Zhora graduated with honours from the Institute of Physics and Technology of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" by specialty "Applied mathematics" in 2003 and finished post-graduate course at the Institute of Software Systems of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine in 2006. Mr. Zhora is an author of nearly 50 scientific publications in information security and co-author of a monograph “Theoretical basics of modeling and analysis of information protection systems” (2010), actively supports education programs for bachelors and masters in cybersecurity. From 2012 Viktor Zhora was active in public initiatives as a Member and Head of Council of Ukrainian Information Security Group, the non-government organization for local InfoSec community, and a member of organizing committees of annual cybersecurity conferences UISGCON and BSides Kyiv. Since 2003 as an architect and project manager he participated in creation of complex information security systems of national importance, including but not limited to protection of electoral systems of Ukraine. From 2012 to 2021 Viktor was a CEO and Co-Founder of Infosafe IT LLC – one of the leading cybersecurity companies in Ukraine. At the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine Viktor Zhora supervises digital transformation and cybersecurity projects, CERT-UA and the State Cyberprotection Center.
